American Vessel Documentation is NOT a government entity. American Vessel Documentation is NOT the United States Coast Guard or the National Vessel Documentation Center. We are a document management service that screens, corrects, processes and submits applications to the NVDC for the purposes of Vessel Documentation with the United States Coast Guard.
The information on this website is provided on an ‘as is’ basis. American Vessel Documentation makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
Further, American Vessel Documentation does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
4. Refunds
Due to the time-sensitive nature of Vessel Documentation filings, we are only able to provide a refund for requests cancelled within three days (72 hours) of the original transaction date. We are unable to provide refunds beyond the three-day period as an applicant’s request will have officially begun the process for submission to the US Coast Guard via the National Vessel Documentation Center (NVDC). A processing fee will be deducted for any requests for Documentation that are refunded due to failure to provide accompanying documents required to process the request with the National Vessel Documentation Center (NVDC).
5. Limitations
In no event shall American Vessel Documentation or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on American Vessel Documentation’s website, even if American Vessel Documentation or a American Vessel Documentation authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
6. Accuracy of materials
The materials appearing on American Vessel Documentation’s website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. American Vessel Documentation does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current.
