To perform a search of Documented Vessels in the United States, you may use one of two systems: The US Coast Guard Maritime Information Exchange (CGMIX) or the NOAA Fisheries Database. The United States Coast Guard has ceased providing Personal Identifying Information (PII) previously included in the data which comprise the report “Merchant Vessels of the United States” also known as the “List of Documented Vessels.”. If you wish to obtain the name of a Managing Owner of a US Coast Guard Documented Vessel, you may request an Abstract of Title ($75 fee) here:
