If the legal name of the Managing owner of a US Coast Guard Documented vessel has changed, a request for Exchange of Documentation will need to be submitted. NOTE: If the documented vessel is subject to a mortgage of record, you must obtain permission from the mortgagee (bank, financial institution, etc) prior to the application being granted. The form CG 4593 Lender Consent will need to be completed by the financial institution.
