If you are selling a Coast Guard Documented vessel, you must complete either a notarized CG-1340 Bill of Sale or complete the back portion of the original Certificate Documentation CG-1270 and have it notarized, along with the application for vessel Transfer/Exchange of Ownership webform via the link below.
NOTE: The Certificate of Documentation does not need to be current to complete the transfer of ownership.
