A USCG Documentation Registry Endorsement allows US Coast Guard Documented vessels to engage in international/foreign trade and any other international/foreign employment for which a Coastwise or Fishery Endorsement is not required.
A Coastwise Endorsement allows for the commercial transport of cargo or passengers in US waters and the Exclusive Economic Zone, and the Fishery Endorsement allows for fishing and landing your catch in US waters and the Exclusive Economic Zone

§ 67.17 Registry endorsement.
(a) A registry endorsement entitles a vessel to employment in the foreign trade; trade with Guam, American Samoa, Wake, Midway, or Kingman Reef; and any other employment for which a coastwise, or fishery endorsement is not required.
(b) Any vessel eligible for documentation under § 67.5 is eligible for a registry endorsement.
