In order to make a change to Vessel Name and/or Hailing Port, a request for Exchange will need to be submitted along with the appropriate fees for the request. Regardless if the change is a minor spelling difference or a full name change, it is a complete Exchange of Documentation process and is subject to stated processing timeframes. If there is a Lien or Mortgage on the vessel a CG-4593 Lender Consent will also need to be submitted.
